Introduction to MayaFlux

February 20,21,22 2006

Ranjith Hegede.

This is a three day intensive workshop for learning computational audio-visual thinking through MayaFlux, a framework where sound and image emerge from the same numerical processes.

This workshop is for you if you are curious about what computers can do beyond imitating older tools. You’re willing to spend time confused before things click. You want to think differently

about digital creation, not just learn new software.

Maybe you’ve used Processing and felt boxed in by the canvas metaphor. Maybe

you’ve used Max/MSP and wondered why audio and video never really talk.

Maybe you’ve never coded, but you’re tired of presets.

Dates:

20 Feb - 4:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m

21 Feb - 2:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m

22 Feb - 2:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m

For more information and downloads visit -- https://mayaflux.org/

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE FOR YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM BEFORE THE WORKSHOP.

500 Rs. for the entire workshop.[Pay at the Venue]
